I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm originally from Pontiac, Michigan. I graduated from Pontiac Northern High School in June of 1998 and attended Oakland Community College. I moved to North Carolina from Michigan in the summer of 2001. I attended Central Piedmont Community College in 2002 and then transferred the following year to UNC Charlotte. Currently, I am taking a break from school, where I have 19 more credits to obtain my degree in history.

I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. I was being tugged on for a long time before I got saved. God sent a new assistant manager into the Papa John's that I work at in the fall of 2004. John would tell me all sorts of stuff about his walk with Jesus Christ. He was trying to get me to proclaim Jesus as my Lord and Savior for months. Finally, on February 1, 2005, while I was closing the store, I was talking with John and he convinced me to give my life to Jesus Christ at almost midnight. The feeling that I got when I did so was one of the best that I have ever felt, knowing that I was saved. Since then, I've met some great friends at my old church and have found a new church home at Elevation Church. I'm blessed to have them as friends and I am blessed to know Him.
