About Me

The details of my life are quite inconsequential, but I'll do the basics for shits and giggles. I've been running around the world pretty aimlessly for the past 6 years, mostly teaching English. Good way to travel if you want to get the hell out of the most boring place in America, also known as the mid-west. I lived in Japan and from there went to a number of countries and then moved out to Hawaii for a couple of years, where I also did some surfing on the side. Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to move back to... ...Kansas. (Though, if you ask certain people, it'a my fault, like it was something I wanted to do. Sorry I'm just a little bitter about that one.) Now, I'm taking my time, getting my head together and saving money to go to grad school. Just so you know, I hate conservatives, I hate bleeding-heart liberals and I despise religion, especially the uninformed holier-than-thou Christians. Not all Christians, but you know the ones I'm talking about. Think about those wackos you see on the street preaching that you've always wanted to punch in the face. (Admit it, you know you want to do it).

My Interests

motorcycles (not those stupid-ass crotch rockets either, I mean real motorcycles, see my photos for a good example), guitar, cars, football, books, movies, history, philosophy, Japanese calligraphy, drinking good beer and wine, travel...(I'm getting bored now and I'm sure you are too so I'll stop)

I'd like to meet:

anyone who has more than half a brain, can think for themself, has a good sense of humor, and can play a mean pan flute solo. Ok, so I really have no idea what that last part means, but it sounds fun.

Music:

Anything that doesn't suck. NOTE: If it's country, it probably sucks.

Movies:

Whatever, movies are so subjective and it's possible for a movie in just about any genre to be excellent or shitty.

Television:

Not a big fan.

Books:

Pretty much anything. Lately I've been reading Haruki Murakami, Stephen R. Donaldson, Robert A. Heinlein, Jack Kerouac and other stuff.

Heroes:

Have to get back to you on this one.
