C-Nile

Wassup world? I go by the name C nile , i'm originally from rockford illinois but live in las vegas. I got into music way back in middle school playin drums and the alto saxophone. Its a good way to clear ya mind... My cousin was writing music and making cd's when i was in high school and later on in life in our adult lives, still at it. I moved to las vegas in 2001 to help move some units of his cd and to see what else it was i could get in to. As a kid, I used to write whatever it was that was bothering me down on paper, then i started to rhyme at the end, just messing around. In rockford, it aint nothin to do but get in trouble, so while i was doing that like 1994 thru 99, the people i was doing that with owned a dance studio with turn tables so we would mess around with that freestyling and shit. I didn't take it serious but everyone was sayin i could rap but i was quick to say "i'm not a rapper, i'm a hustla". Rap is a hustle too... i learned that by seeing how long its taking to get on.In 2001, i wrote my first real rap for my cousin thinking that that was going to get him on. He liked the song but wouldn't rap it cause i wrote it, i understood that. I got tired of vegas and moved back home to the roc continuing to write and finally i got into a studio my guy owned. First time on the mic with 10 people watching me, recorded my song on 1 take. I come out the booth and everyone wanted a copy talkin bout it was hot. From there, everyone was coming up to me for a copy of the 6 songs total that i recorded. Good feeling... I was hot for a different reason besides the police pulling me over 30 odd times in 1 year. I was always slick with my words so to do it over a beat was nothin but platinum shit especially if the beat hot.I moved back to vegas sept. 2002 to get out of the fast life where i ended up catching a armed violence case. Illegal search and seizure, i love my rights. Music and my kids future is all i'm focused on now, bullshit aint nothin but chewed up grass and i aint got time... I'm gettin old.Earlier the next year my people from pay attention ent told me about a spot where they were doing open mics so me and one of my guys went to check it out. Nobody really stood out so my guy told me not to waste my time unless someone was show boating. I ended up doing it anyway to see a response. they loved me... 1 dude chick checking me out too hard so he made her leave and someone else hating on my shit but not directly acting like he had to go. It was probably becaue of the introduction they gave me, sayin that i was what they were waiting on. I get off stage and they was still singing my shit. My guys 'big family' wanted me to come to another place they were doing open mics so I ended up doing a few more.I put together a mix cd and handed out about 300 copies just creating a buzz, it worked. A lot of people know my music and like it. C nile hot, thats what i hear. I have a album cd just about done, its cool from the beginning to the end. I had a few deals on the table from people that talk good but i turned them down. I dont like to move backwards. Speaking of... talent unlimited usa, whats up? They full of it.Krackin and Krunk is the independent label name and also the name of the first song that i wrote. Oh yeah, I produce too. We have a lot of talent from artist and the production standpoint. Relate us to the modern day cash money millionaires. We sold out the trunk in a lot of states, promotin my cousin album, put shit in stores on cosignment, just tryna stay busy. Myspace is a lot quicker for getting shit heard so here we are.
