Apparently the last profile was too long... So, in brief: I like music, lots and lots and lots. I dj (pretty well I think)as am rubbish at going out and doing nothing except drinking. Or dancing. I am also rubbish at that. And talking to people, often can't even string a sentence together or explain what my head is thinking. I like watching bands but as I have seen, er, quite a few I want to be blown away by their brilliance. I can't get excited by 'ordinary' bands that have no ambition in the music they make or have no idea that they have no ideas or grasp what they need to do to be special. It may sound arrogant but when it comes to music I am always right and everyone else is wrong. I also like motor racing and would love to able to do some. But never have any money so can't. Having said that, most of it (like music) has gone style over substance. The cars are too efficient and can't overtake etc. The Americans seem to have the best grasp as with most sports - it is meant to be entertaining to watch! I do some work at ASylum (Hull Uni Students Union, mainly with live music or when someone with a car who does not have lectures/essays/exams is needed! I also do kleeneze which may seem a silly job but I think is the easiest way to earn £20k a year without having a boss, or having to get out of bed in the morning if you have been out till 4am. I have managed bands (the Paddingtons, We Start Fires, Turismo) at various points, which was good fun but have reached the maximum level of debt those lovely people at banks will let me have so can't carry on with that until I have 'refinanced' myself (managing bands costs lots of money. If you haven't got any don't. You won't be able to help them!). I never have time to do anything other than work. Even fitting washing up in is a challenge. I also like reading and films and History and, well to be honest, I find everything interesting. Which is quite boring but is better than inane conversations about how many drugs/beer was consumed the previous night. In my opinion. Discuss.
