We've been through some tough times, but so has everyone, right? At some point, you realize that marriage is hard work. No way around it. Making it work is all about commitment. You have to make a deal or it's too easy to get out. The ooey gooey feelings will go away. I know...sad but true...it's simply how we're created. However, when that's gone, we're just left with life, and life is meant to be lived abundantly. Life truly is too short. So love and be loved, no matter what.

My Interests

If love is patient and kind, if it isn't envious or boastful or proud, if it's not rude or selfish, if it's slow to anger and not vengeful, if it avoids evil and rejoices in truth, if it truly protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres...if love truly never fails, then love is all we need. Can we attain this? No. It's supernatural. But if we shoot for the stars, we're bound to hit something! ________________Don't get caught up in the idea of "falling in love". Love isn't something that magically happens to us. On some level, it's something we choose. That mystical attraction at the beginning of a relationship is chemistry, and chemistry is important in a relationship. But it won't sustain one. Only committed love can sustain a relationship._________________There are places I remember all my life, though some have changed__Some forever, not for better, some have gone and some remain__All these places had their moments with lovers and friends I still can recall__Some are dead and some are living__In my life, I've loved them all___But of all these friends and lovers, there is no one compares with you__And these memories lose their meaning when I think of love as something new__Though I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before__I know I'll often stop and think about them__In my life, I love you more_____In my life, I've loved you more. ..

I love television, and I don't know why people feel the need to apologize for that.

Books:

I am always reading at least two books, sometimes three. Beyond that, I start confusing the plots.
