About Me

My name is Brian, and I am a musician living and working Baton Rouge, LA. I play the trombone and bass. In 2004, I acquired a Bachelor of Music [Performance] and a Bachelor of Music Education from LSU. I like to listen and play as much as time allows. Geaux Tigers!
Lately, I've been writing a lot more. I have some band and orchestra charts being played in LA, as well as in a few other states. That's pretty cool, I think. I have also been mastering the valve trombone.
About the music:
The first and second recordings are the third and second movements of "Three Short Ditties for String Orchestra," an original composition of mine, composed for my dear friend, Chris Frazier, and his orchestra. These sounds are quite a bit better than the MIDI ones of the third selection, but they are still computer generated. Also, the slowing at the end of the second movement is ridiculous; it's not that exaggerated.
The third recording is an excerpt of a brass quintet arrangement of the "Adagio" movement of Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 that was arranged for the wedding between two friends. The sounds aren't real people, but that's about the best computer generated sounds I've heard...
