Cleaning up the mess you've left behind.

About Me

I have been an independant music producer for seven years now. My history has been filled with musical training on various different instruments and I have performed with several different bands, including musicians of all shapes, sizes and colors. I am currently a student at Columbia College Chicago studying audio engineering and production.
When it comes to my music, I take things pretty seriously. I feel there has always been a gigantic void when it comes to innovation in electronic music. There is far too much dependance on sampling and use of presets to create songs in this way, so I make a point of engineering my own unique sounds from basic raw waveforms and continue to build from there, in an attempt to eliminate those same tired old samples you hear in every other track.
I've always had a special interest in making soundtracks for film and video games and hope to someday sustain myself on such work. I would encourage any aspiring film makers or game designers who have an interest in my work to contact me regarding contracts for scoring. Or if you just happen to come across my music and enjoy the sound, let me know. Feedback is always welcomed, good or bad.

Sourpuss

This is a new one I wrote during this past week. It was inspired by two or three evenings of successive phone calls that ended on a sour note. The sample is of Sen. McCarthy from the Red Scare era. He...

Mayday

Today there were protests across the nation. Immigrant workers, unions and families all organized to march and make their voices heard. I was witness to the spectacle. I stood there, taking photos, an...

Vanilla

I wrote a new song today. It isn't totally complete, but what song ever truly is? Count it amoung the many songs to tweak. A little bit reduction here, a little less overcompression there. I hear it c...
