Milagro Saints

..Milagro Saints are promoting a new Live album "SONGS ON THE LIVE WIRE" for 2009/10 following 2008's "warmsoulsunshine" which garnered rave reviews in the US and Europe, and limited edition "bootleg" album "Blue Halo Valentine" sold only at live shows. Their sound is roots-based, melodic folk rock (think of The Band,Dylan, Neil Young ) The line up is erstwhile Englishman Stephen Ineson, who originally came to the U.S. for a national tour with TVT recording artists The Jack Rubies, keyboard player Lee Kirby, drummer and harmony vocalist, Ed Root, latest recruit Roberto Morales playing electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, Smitty on lap steel guitar, and David Kaminski on bass.Columnist Seth Rogovoy, in his syndicated column the "Beat" recently characterized the sound of the band as "a timeless fusion of folk and soul music reminiscent of The Band but with distinctive touches all its own", Peter J. Brown, of TOXIC PETE U.K. music review site, recently wrote "Milagro Saints keep it cool and relaxed but manage to conjure up a real blissful and exciting sound that seamlessly blends all the subtle nuances of nu-country with all the graceful undercurrents of acoustic folk; theirs is a masterful variety of the form, lovingly conceived, stunningly performed and seriously contagious." and Rob Forbes of LEICESTER BANGS U.K. online review site stated, "The title track (Warm Soul Sunshine) with its hammond and harmonies is pure cosmic country rock"
