About Me
Myspace CodesSitting in an empty theater, eyes closed, the mind wanders. It reflects upon which way the road before it may turn, and where the road has lead. It reflects on the choices made, and the alternatives. It begins to see life abstractly, watching the world tear itself apart, and rebuild. It sees that mankind can be a very curious thing to ponder.
The mind snaps back to the reality that exists, suddenly aware of the people walking into the auditorium, carrying popcorn and screaming children to their seats. The mind decides to leave these people, these strangers whose faces will be forgotten, and their voices unheard, to their story of heroes and villains, epic and scripted. Leaving the shelter of this sanctuary of the imagination, the mind looks to the sky. Large, lazy storm clouds slumber, and the winds die down. Out of the corner of the eye, there the mind sees a reflection. The mind sees a man, an adolescent youth trapped in a river, swimming against the current, fighting to survive. The eye sees a man standing in a movie theater parking lot, his uniform in hand, his expression befitting the weather. And the rain begins to fall. This is not something to worry about, the heart says to the mind, answering the unasked question.Isnt it?
