Hmmm...where to begin. So I moved about a year ago to Minneapolis to work at the U of MN in research--that's right, baby, a real job! Kind of. Its a postdoc position in the Department of Medicine. I moved from Boston in July 2007, where I was an intern at Mass General Hospital/Harvard Medical School for a year. I am originally from South Dakota but went to Kansas for grad school almost six years ago.I enjoy the usual (i.e., time with friends, small children, cute animals, yadda, yadda, yadda). I am a pretty active person--I like to run (did my first marathon in October, 2006 and have done some half marathons), bike, watch movies, hit concerts, etc. My favorite nights out with friends or dates have ranged anywhere from an upscale dinner and a musical (my favorite is Les Mis) to Royals or Red Sox games (pathetic, I know) or karoake night (I've been known to knock out a little Alanis or Sheryl).Anyway, I was just noticing how many people are doing this darn myspace deal and thought I'd invite some friends aboard, especially given that all of my friends and I seem to be moving, and I want to keep in touch with everyone as much as possible (tear, sniff, sniff).
