Most importantly, Carol "Money Penny" from Keen Eddie! Oddly enough, Obama so I can punch him in the dick and let him know that I'll serve my country but I will never respect a man who takes from those of us who have sacrificed so much already. You see, My opinions about our new President are strictly to invoke discussion and I don't mind that discussion through messages, e-mail, or formal/casual conversation. I am an American, and above all I am an American Airmen and I have chosen to defend the constitution, this country and its freedom's, but most importantly its people. I also will follow the orders of the President as he is the at the top of my chain-of-command. I will not however, standby and say nothing when his policies effect the very people who have sworn to do the same. We as a people should be aware of the things which our President does and not turn a blind eye to them if they do not directly effect us. It is OUR voice which guides this country's future, so what happens if we choose to remain silent. It has recently come to my attention that some people believe that as a military member you can't speak your mind about the President. This is not true, however, article 88 of the UCMJ clearly protects the enlisted force by specifically excluding us from prosecution-it is in fact encourage for enlisted members to engage in political discussion. Unless you are clearly trying to band together and overthrow or pose a threat to the government you are safe. If there is anyone you know being told otherwise refer them to the ADC and let them know that they are protected under article 88.
