At every show, you’ll see the dynamic-duo, Kevin(singer) and ?????(guitar), moving around the room and pumping up the crowd (the faithful of which have been dubbed the “Hard Knockerz”), while Z$(drums) and Jenuine J-Flo(bass) maintain the integrity of the intensive grooves from the stage. These boys are not afraid to do whatever it takes to keep their loyal fan base of fun-loving 21 to 40+ year olds happy. Even if that means hopping onto the bar and giving everyone a shot! ** No glass required ** The show is called “THE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOXX” and is run like a classroom. The sets are called semesters, classes are called double fisting 101, doing shots on or @ the bar. There are test questions, sing-alongs, and of course dancing like tomorrow will never come! The music is of the widest variety, as the set list consists of 70’s & 80’s medleys, funk, hip-hop, and today’s most modern rock. Something for everyone; and it continues to grow as they constantly add new and old favorites to “keep it fresh”. Plus ya never know who will show up to a HK show; as 700 fans @ The Hard Rock Cafe were treated to a New Years Eve Surprise when Sully Erna from Godsmack made a guest appearance, belting out some of Godsmack's biggest hit with the HK Boyz. This talented lineup brings in experience from a variety of other projects such as Pulse, Primal Instinct, Think Big, & Cosmic Java: all of which have received praise and respect of their own.Hard Knoxx’s website has over 110,800 hits since 10/02, and the recent addition of their MySpace page is on pace to far surpass those numbers. Their popularity is reflected in the ever growing mailing list, guest book and crowd attendance as the boys expand their home area in New London County to Hartford, Providence and beyond. In April of 2003, the HK boys won the highly competitive New York Quest Entertainment Battle of the Bands, hosted by the Guarde Arts Theater in New London, Ct.So and throw on your Corona drinking hat, put on your dancing shoes, and come on out to the next show, where Hard Knoxx never fails to Rock the Party!!
