About Me

I'm huge into self-improvement and introspection, which is probably why I'm never happy with myself. My family works themselves to the bone and it's really hard to keep up with. I try to be nice to everyone I know regardless of our differences and love making new friends. I'm worried about the future, that teaching art has no place in the world anymore and hope to god I can find a job. I love drum n bass, Larry and I follow the acts around and try to scope out as much in Michigan as possible (and Ohio and canada!) even though the scene is pretty tiny here. I go to OU for studio art and I love it and use art to help get through hard times. Photography's my favorite, I do conceptual stuff and am not as interested in precision. I try the best I can to be a good person, that's all you can do. The more I do for other people, the better I feel about myself... mother theresa knew a thing or two :)

I'd like to meet:

Check out the photography in my pictures, they're all taken by me, I print the black and whites in a traditional darkroom and the colors are taken with a Canon Rebel. Some are definitely altered in Photoshop.

Music:

dark and hard drum & bass, jungle, breaks, synthpop, breakbeat, ebm and some techno if it has melody

Movies:

a beautiful mind, blow, trainspotting, momento, pulp fiction, the prestige, juno, the notebook (yes), almost famous, the yellow submarine, american beautypsychological thrillers or something that makes me snort when I laugh (doesn't take much)

Television:

scrubs, family guy, THE OFFICE!, simpsons

Books:

I read half a book and find something else
