About Me

Who am I? Well, I'm Rob.

My qualifications include: having grade 8 on guitar (theory and practical, contemporary guitar), I have an A-level in music and a BTEC in music performance (having studied at the ACM in Guildford), I compose original material, arrange tunes in all styles and for all instruments, and I've been teaching for 4 years. My current band "Frost Hammer" was founded in late 2008. I designed my website to share my knowledge of playing guitar and bass with you, but if you would like one-to-one tuition, please contact me and we'll book some lessons. I currently work from Hampshire.

Influences: Black Sabbath; Motorhead; Black Label society; Guns'n'Roses; Metallica; Iron Maiden; Jimi Hendrix; Mozart; Ozzy Osbourne; The Beatles; Haydn; Oasis; Randy Rhoads (for his fusion of rock and classical music); Van Halen (for the guitarists expressive use of the instrument- and just for the cheesyness of the songs!); and Bach;But i'm sure theres millions more. I'm influenced also by having an A level in music and grade 8 on guitar.
Sounds Like: A mixture of Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhoads and Steve Vai...all coming through a Randall Warhead 300 Watt amp.

Liveyate Festival
