About Me

My name is Nick. I am a husband and a proud father. I live in Kentucky where I work as an underground coal miner. I am a third generation miner, following after my grandfather and father. They were both great influences in my life. When I was a small kid, I remember back spending time with grandaddy sitting in that old porch swing. I thought that man could do no wrong. I dont reckon I can ever remember anything wrong he did. Even if it wasnt right to the rest of the world, it's what he believed, and I feel it takes a bigger man to stand for what you believe than what everyone else does. I wish he could be here to see little cheyenne now, I think she would be his pride and joy. My father was also a good man, he raised me well, and raised me right. Although I never made the right decisions, he let me make the wrong ones to learn from, and was always there when I found it was wrong to pick me back up again. If I can be half the fathers, husbands, Miners, most of all a man, like my grandaddy and dad, I think I'll do good. Though Grandad isnt with us anymore, he is still with me everyday as I go down in the mines. I know he is watching over me, helping me make the right decisions. My father is enjoying being a grandad himself now, and I know someday cheyenne will have these very same feelings as she looks back. My father helps me to be a good husband and father, always there for advice, and still lending that helping hand when I need it. I have grown up now over the years, I now Have my own family, a beutiful wife, and daughter. As I said earlier, I had two grweat teachers, and I hope I'm half the men they were and are. For my whole life, everything I love, Everything I work for lyes in my heart, my wife and daughter, two beutiful girls. a

My Interests
