Have you ever gone to a resteraunt--usually one of those "up all night dinners"--and taken a look at their grilled cheese sandwiches? See, the Grilled Cheese Sandwich is somewhat of an enigma. The average cheeseburger costs about $4.50 at one of these resteraunts. The average hamburger costs about $4.00, a difference of $.50. Now, the only definable difference between the hamburger and the cheeseburger is, well, cheese. Now, at these same resteraunts, the average cost of toast is $.50 while the cost of a Grilled Cheese Sandwich is about $3.50. What the hell? Does it really cost that much to melt the cheese on the taost?
