.r{}I am a parent before anything else. I have two sons, one biological (Noah) and the other I've been looking after since he was a year old (Brayden). Brayden doesn't live with us, but maybe one day. I am married, and have been since August 7, 2005. My husband Jarred is in the Army, so that means we had to move from our home in Hawaii all the way to Germany!! It was hard at first, but it's getting better and hey, I'm in Europe, FOR FREE! We are trying to have another baby, hopefully one day. It was hard to leave home though: I wanted to stay, but I didn't at the same time bec there's some people and drama in Hawaii that I'd love to get away from, yet I didn't want to leave Brayden. I love that boy just as much as I do Noah, no matter who tried to stop me, tell me I can't love him, tell me I don't love him, or tells me that I can't see him. Love is the most powerful thing in the world next to God, and love will conquer all. I know Brayden knows I love him and even through this rough patch, our relationship will stay strong. In fact, to this day, we remain in touch and we are still close. Brayden will be in sixth grade this year and Noah will be in third. Man they grow up so quickly! I am thankful to have people to support me and be there for me in this time of conflict. It's amazing that people who you think are "your worst enemy, can be your best friend," to quote Bob Marley. Life has a funny way of revealing things! I am getting a brand new van this week! I've been wanting a van for 5 years now. It seems silly, but I want a car that my family can enjoy and that we can fit in when we travel. My mom has come to live with us here in Germany. She took care of me all my life, so now it's time to return the favor! Now, we can all fit in our van when we go out, plus the dogs! And when I get back to Hawaii, I can take Brayden cruisin with us! But back to my job...I love working with kids. All kids have a streak of innocence even when it may not seem like it. All kids can be reached, but you gotta know how. Not that I always know how, but finding out is part of the fun!! I found this out during my first year of teaching at Argonner Elementary School. We have moved to Kaiserslautern in Germany. I am hoping to get a job at one of the elementary schools in the area. It's hard finding a teaching job here since so many of the bases are closing down. That's ok though, because the Lord is awesome, and if you don't know this personally, you can... all you have to do is believe! Try it, it worked wonders for me and mine... see what He can do for you and yours.... and remember, everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, happens for a reason.
