First and foremost I'm a dork, in all sences of the word: I love computer games, partake in LARP'ing, play Dungeons and Dragons religiously... And I'm ok with that... I know what I like and life's too short to worry about it...
On relationships, I'm very much the hopeless romantic type, many times too much so than for my own good... My idea of a perfect date is usually a long romantic dinner, some sort of cultural event [a play/symphonic experience/opera] and a nice long night-time walk. I don't go to bars, take my time in getting to know people, and I don't even try too hard to meet people. I firmly believe, albeit doubtlessly naive of me, that "the right one" will come by, and thats how its supposed to be... For that reason I havent had many relationships, but have greatly enjoyed the ones I have had... Leaving me no regrets, and not wishing I had done a damn thing differently about them...
Moving on to my professional life, I currently work as an Assistant Manager for the bookstore at George Mason, paying off bills and taking pre-requisite courses to start my an MBA at JMU... Before that I was a commercial pilot living in New York, and believe it or not I came damn close to landing a career with the airlines; but after September 11th and the death of a dear friend, that plan kind of went to the wayside... So now I'm back to the drawing board, but to be honest, I'm liking where I am now far more than where I would have been if I persued my aviation-dreams...
Just goes to prove what my highschool graduation speaker told us before we left: "Make your plans, but write them in pencil; because you'll never know exactly where your going to end up... Or what will happen along the way..."
Well thats me in a nutshell, if you can think of something else that should be here, just lemme know and I'd be glad to put it up... Oh and apparently I'm a damn fine cutthroat scally wag, at least according to Malekai =)
