I am a huge fan of TV shows on DVD. I am a big football fan, love the White Sox..have since my first game in 1965, (Sox got shutout, 5-0). I am that soccer fan you can't figure out. Used to hate the sport, now can't get enough. Watch English Premier League on Fox Soccer Channel and catch German and Italian leagues on Gol TV. Went to the World Cup in Germany last year...was one of the GREATEST TIMES OF MY LIFE!! As for music, my IPOD is up to 5650 songs, with soccer and foreign language podcasts included.
I remain stuck in the 70's. Huge Aerosmith fan. Also Supertramp, (Crime of the Century - one of my top 5 favorite albums), Ted Nugent, Queen, Rush, Chicago (I know...going soft on you now), Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Joe Jackson, Todd Rundgren, Pink Floyd, U2
All Time Favorites...Braveheart, Tombstone, Stripes, Caddyshack, Almost Famous. Of recent release, Cinderella Man, Anchorman (hated it after the first viewing), Munich, Crash. In '06, the magic movies, The Prestige and The Illusionist, were two of the better movies of the year.
I can't get enough tv. 24 is one of my faves! CSI, NCIS, Las Vegas (can't get enough Molly Sims), CSI:Miami, (how about that Emily Proctor!). Family Guy is the GREATEST!!! Then I go to a show like Smallville...big comic book reader and love the whole Superman thing. Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm are instant classics. Shark a good new series.
Nick Hornby (wrote the original Fever Pitch about Arsenal soccer team in London), Neil Peart...yes the drummer from Rush. He has a few books on travel and more...very good! Stephne King, especially ones that are not as big as dictionaries. Many different sports books, including soccer and baseball.
