Young Ballers breathe, sleep, eat, and live music. Skool Boi & Silence been bringin real music to the table since childhood. They capture ppls attention with their everyday progression. Skool Boi & Silence were both raised in the small but popular city in their state known as New Haven, CT a.k.a Elm City. They have always been a team since diapers.
Skool Boi (The General), born and raised in New Haven, CT, has always had a love for music. That comes from his mom who played music around him all the time; even during the 9 months of her pregnancy she played music for him. His father and two brothers sang when they were about preteens to mid teens, so music is in his blood. He also just had a ear for music. He wasn't the type to get in trouble with the law but has been in situations where if things could have went wrong there wouldn̢۪t be a Skool Boi. You see Skool Boi always had a scheme or a hustle whether it was right or wrong he did it and was school smart and street smart with it. Thats where the name Skool Boi originates from, he stayed on point in school but at the same time he did what he had to do. Over the years he has lost many to the streets and he trying not to be a victim of the streets himself. Music is his life and he plans on making it to the top by bringing real music one step at a time.
Silence (1 Draft Pick) was born in New Britain, Ct but raised in New Haven. Silence's passion for music has grown, as he got older. Silence was born in the music generation of the 90's growing up listening to artist such as Biggie, Pac, Jay-Z, N.W.A, Nas, & Snoop just to name a few. Music is in his blood as well as Skool Boi with his father being a local DJ in New Haven. Silence got his name from just that, playing a street basketball game with Skool Boi & some others. During the game they would yell out "shhh Silence" because he wouldn't say anything; even if somebody said something to him heâ'd respond on the court. Silence grew up in what some would consider the suburbs of New Haven but has always been connected to the inner-city, just hasn't been drawn into the negativity. Silence isn't one to be slept on; he might be quiet but in the booth he is a whole different person. Silence has a way with the words; he's a lyricist assassin. Music is his life and he plans on making it to the top by bringing real music one step at a time.
These two always are a team they are like brothers, whether its music, playing sports, parties/clubs, getting at girls, chilling in the streets, or whatever the case; they've been a team then and still are. With these two and the Fab 5 (The Soldiers- J-Nyce, Statz, Bizzy) Production crew there is no stopping them. They know no deal will just be handed to them so they work hard everyday, no time for breaks. So for now they will continue to do what they do, get on as many mixtapes as possible, do shows, promote themselves and get what they can get from the people who see real talent and want to be part of "The Movement" cause THE MOVEMENT IS MOVIN!!

We been at this rap thing for years now. At that time we started being in the game was a dream and goal, but being so young at the tyme we weren't really serious as we are about it now, but as our flow got better and our styles became more unique we realized we had potential and here we are now pursuing our dream...Ever since then its been hit after hit....We have a couple songs playing on the page, the album is complete, the mixtape is complete, the full collection is available.
