"The harder the conflict the more glorious the triumph" Thomas Paine.
1995
After appearing on then the most listened to and hottest underground radio show "The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito show" with fellow rappers Tru-Life
and brother Seven Dirty on 89.9 fm "tech-9" going only by the name "Strap"
Sinister who caught the attention of the whole room Including King tee and the Alcholicks as well as bobbito and stretch ,theyre applauds heard on the air
in the backround. Sinister knew right then what his calling was and was forever determined to show the world how great he was destined to be.
but that would only be the begining of an 11 year struggle towards his ultimate goal and future as a successfull artist in the music industry.....
From then on while focusing on writing and making songs but still equaly
pursuing a life of crime on the Lower East Side streets of Manhattan he
managed to stay under the radar for some time, though still making a little noise on "Hot 97.fm" on Future Flavas with pioneer Marley Marl and Pete Rock
and DJ Enuffs 5 o clock traffic jam as well as featuring on songs with members from Terror Squad and Wu-Tang Clan artist Killa Army and also opening up shows for Wu Tang Clan artist themselves.....
Still yet the streets seemed to have more of an overpowering influence on the talented rapper then the studio and his music and the young man spent 3
more years of his life selling drugs and earning quite a reputation for himself
on the streets but after going through some re-evaluating and soul searching.
He finaly went back to his music to once again pursue his lifelong dream and carreer as and I quote" one of the best to ever do it" and began his campaign
forming his label Sin City Records with longtime brothers and partners and has been striving towards his goals relentlessly ever since.
Now out to show and prove to the world that from "2006" and on that this truly is his time. Releasing his first cd "Theropeutic" and working on his second release aptly titled "AGONY' Sinister is a name the masses had better get familiar with true talk!
stay tuned more will follow.....
