I started out in retail marketing for MoBettrMusic where I worked with a number of MCA artists including MARY J BLIGE, KEKE WYATT & AVANT to name a few. I've also worked @ ATLANTIC Records starting in the Urban Public Relations department & moving on to working with the Senior Urban A&R Director, where I was involved in the development of projects by artists such as LIL KIM.I am currently working my own independent project with a young talented artist by the name of "KERTASY" out of New Jersey who has worked with the one and only super talented music producer, songwriter & artist R.KELLY.KERTASY is the perfect mix of street and suave, he has the making of a great artist. His natural talent & charisma has been refined by experience; couple with his independence.KERTASY is one of the best-unsigned artists right now and will be one of the best things that happen in hip-hop once he gets a chance to display his talents to the rest of the world. Utilizing newer producers for a novel sound- the middle ground between gritty East Coast and sexy Southern influences over the melody, other times, exploding fast and punchy, ricocheting off the bass. I favor up-tempo beats because of my versatility, KERTASY explains. I like to flip my flow, which is unusual for an East Coast rapper.

KERTASY is also on the Vibe Magazine Artists on the Verge CD Compilation thats slated to come out in February 2006. The Compilation will be sent to over 400.000 customers with their new subscriptions. He also had a few dates On the Vibe Magazine College last yr in October that feat some of the top artist thats out right now.Juelz Santana & Teairra Mari to name a few.
