Snoozebutton

snoozebutton has been around since the end of 2002. a lot has happened since then. they have played gigs all over germany with bands such as “SUB7EVEN”, “STONE THE CROW”, “EMIL BULLS”, “DONOTS”, “DOG EAT DOG”, "MACHINEMADEGOD" as well as with “SEMTEX” and “SEPCYS”. this year the list will be updated with bands like "CALIBAN", "FEAR MY THOUGHTS", "UNEARTH", "CHIMAIRA", "LAMB OF GOD" and "4LYN".back to the start though: a half a year after its conception, snoozebutton started playing shows featuring their own compositions. these songs were later arranged into a demo-ep titled “no compromise”. the success of the demo encouraged the band to record more songs and set the stage for merchandise and a new webpage to be launched as well.impressively, the shows played from the first show in august of 2003 to the present time means that the band averages at least one show every month. what makes this statistic even more impressive is that the band is self-managed and consists of individuals that find time between their busy study and work schedules to do what they love.now, in the beginning of its fifth year, snoozebutton has developed considerably. guitarist felix schulz has returned from a semester abroad and due to commencement of medical studies, guitarist felix stahmann has been replaced by björn “zack” zachlod. the transition has gone smoothly and the band is as good as ever. plans for 2007 include: the writing of new songs, new merchandise, a new webpage, and playing as many live shows as possible.the band continues to raise the bar and by the end of the year snoozebutton will have certainly shared the stage with many new bands at many new venues. hopefully you’ll have time to catch up with them in the near future. img src="http://webzoom.freewebs.com/projekt515/snooze.gif" border="o"
