I think people should do things that come from a place of love, and if you can't then don’t do it.

About Me

"To embrace all is to be selfless. To be selfless is to be all pervading. To be all pervading is to be transcendant."

"Politics is often the arena of titanic megalomania and disregard for the common good. It is rarely the wise who rule, but rather the ones driven to dominate others."
ALEX GREY
it is my opinion that religion is oppose to mankind, and our survival.
if you are willing to kill another man, whether it's for god, or country, and are willing to die for one or both, that's fine. go play on the moon. JUST STOP KILLING CIVILIANS.
i'm all about free thought, world peace, compassion, open discussion of like minded & unlike minded individuals & liberty on the most personal, HUMAN scale. as you have your rights to do and say as you wish.. so do i.. and i never remain silent..
i didnt vote for bush, so dont blame me for this shit.. but if you want to try to find a solution, i wanna talk to you.. it is up to us to can change the conditions that we live in. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TRY!
im one of those people that is hard to really define. too many interests, too many questions... i love to laugh, and make people laugh. but i also love to think, and make people think.

MY FRIENDS ARE MY FAMILY.. most of them have been in my life since elementary school. the rest have been picked up randomly throughout the years and never discarded. they have always been there for me, so i make a point of trying to always be there for them. I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR THEM- i know thats really cliche, but i really would at least consider doing anything for them. we have been through some wonderful times, and some painful times. we have had periods of time that we have been seperated, but we always gravitate towards each other.
i'm a night person, and i work the 3rd shift so i can avoid the crappy morning feeling.. now i get the crappy evening feeling.. i am CONSTANTLY staying up for a day or two & working all night with no problem. i have always been more of a night person. i was the kinda kid that would fight my parents to get to stay up & would end up watching tv until after my dad fell asleep... i'm not an insomniac or a speed user. sleep is just sssooooo fukken BORING! i only sleep when my body tells me to.

Movies:

ALL KINDS OF MOVIES!

Literally.. all kinds... I neglected this section for a while, because I couldn't possibly type every movie I like... Here goes... A Bronx Tale, Scarface, Goodfellas, the godfather movies, American History X, The Crow, The Matrix, Bound, Suicide Club, Audition, The Devil's Advocate, Saw, Memento, Mullholland Drive, Stephen King movies (except Green Mile... that movie sucked), ALL BRUCE LEE FLICKS (especially Game of Death), all kinds of horror flicks (especially old school Italian shit, half baked, harold & kumar, jackass, all of the kevin smith movies (chasing amy is probably the best), fear, cape fear, crash, hotel rawanda, bomb the system, what dreams may come, rush hour, friday, every jenna flick EVER... unfaithful, full disclosure, all the cheech and chong flicks, pink floyd's the wall... the list is really endless. i can't believe i just listed all those movies and not one was by tarantino. throw all of his in there too.

Television:

whatever is on that DOESNT suck (so usually nothing)!! discovery channel, the science channel, cspan, news channels. (remember, i said i'm NOT a dumbass)

even when the idiotbox is on, and i'm staring at it, i may not be watching. most of tv is mindless fukken garbage. there are some things i watch but nothing all that regularly.

Books:

the mission of art by alex grey GREAT BOOK!
where the red fern growns- (still a favorite)
behold a pale horse- (READ THIS BOOK!)
JFK an unfinished life- this book tears down the "historical" version of the man that had grown since his death. i always thought he was an idealist, but since reading it, i realized what a mortal he truly was.
history of hell- its always fun to see peoples ideas of eternity, and punishment evolve! plus, i wanted to see where i am going IF I'm wrong! (but i'm not)
100 years solitude- i'm not a huge fan of fiction, but this was a very good story.
i thought a million little pieces and also my friend leonard both by james frey- fact or fiction here is irrelevant. "...pieces" was a GREAT story. I think he should have been honest about what was true, and what was false. In the end though, it does not take away how it was written, and the story that it contains. "...leonard" was not as good, but an excellent sequel.
i know this much is true by wally lamb - another example of a fiction story that i actually enjoyed.
the autobiography of malcom x...
the creaive mind: an introduction to metaphysics- i love philosophy, whether i agree with the author or not.
drugs and society- it was originally published as a thesis, i believe. it is a study of the US government propaganda against drugs, but also of the factual information of these drugs. It was written in the late 80's though, so it doesn't reflect more recent studies or policies.
imperial ambitions- basically interviews of noam chomsky organized into a linear discussion of american foreign policy. definitely worth a read.
i just finished reading "night draws near"
by anthony shadid- this book finds the author in Iraq before and during the war. he went around the country and documented not only the carnage of conflict, but also the human aspect of violence. he also sheds light on the tribal lifestyle of the country itself, and also draws on the rich, vast history of a once great city, and the effects oppression has had on a once proud people.
I am currently reading "war against the weak: eugenics and america's campaign to create a master race" by edwin black.a whole bunch more... i love reading world history, and religious fiction (oops, i mean religious stories)
if you wanna know about a book, maybe i've read it, maybe not... if you know of something good, let me know. i'm always looking for something good to read

Heroes:

thats a tough one. because we are all human, i try not to hold people on a pedestal anymore. i grew sick of being let down.
who has inspired me? historically speaking, fredrick douglas, martin luther king, malcom x, che guevara, nelson mandela, OJ (i know its sick, but he proved you can beat the system), and anton szandor lavey.
artistically speaking, maynard james keenan, OZZY, trent reznor, jimi hendrix.
in general, my grandfather, my mom (possibly the strongest person i know).
Anyone else that refuses to keep quiet when they know something is wrong, regardless of the popularity of the statements they make. everyone that has been knocked down but keeps getting up.... the struggle continues... fight to win!

i can however tell you who my hero WILL be... whoever emerges as the voice that can unite humanity again.
