I love reading. Sit me down with a novel and I’m sorted. If I like I book I’ll read it more than once. The sign of a good book is one you can read over and over and over again without loosing interest; like the time traveller’s wife, or twilight.
I love music; listening to it on my ipod on the way to, from and often during college; live at gigs – it’s a pity exams are getting in the way of some good ones this summer; and playing it, I may be rubbish but I enjoy it and that’s all that counts right?
I love writing, stories, poems and even essays if the topic interests me enough.
I love the dark, deep velvet dark that enfolds itself around you and hides everything. A darkness which cannot be achieved through cheap bedroom curtains, but which no light can penetrate and no sound can disturb.
I love the rain and standing out it especially. That feeling of each rain drop falling onto your skin, soaking your clothes and plastering your hair to your head.
I love the snow too, and that picturesque ‘winter wonderland’ where the trees are white and glisten in the sunlight, where icicles hang from the branches and footprints through the snow tell hidden tales.
I love long and pointless walks, the feeling of no destination and just walking for walking sake.
I love random conversations; talking for hours about nothing in particular and sharing inside secrets that others will never understand.
I love laughing so much that your sides actually hurt, that you eyes well up for an unknown reason, and that you have to lean against something for support.
I love the night sky, looking up to count the stars and loosing yourself in the simple vastness of it all…......
