DJ PUSH (real name Iga) has been djing around Poland since 2002 during which time she has became one of the best female d’n’b djs in the country. The reason behind it lies in her extremely precise beat matching technique alongside flawless tunes selection that always gets the dancefloors rocking. Originally from Katowice (Silesia; southern Poland), she currently lives in Cracow. She is a Culture of Far East and Chinese language student, involved in yoga and generally working to be a peaceful person. Her first dj playouts took place in the famous Silesian club Zanzibar and she has never looked back since then. Not only a great DJ, she is also a stunningly looking woman with her long black dreadlocks perfectly matching the darkness of the music she plays, hence her "dark princess" nickname. Influenced by Teebee, Calyx and Klute she is now exploring the dark side of drum and bass, namely its neurofunk and trancestep subgenres.
In recent years Push was a resident DJ in a legendary underground ABSURD club in Cracow. Unfortunately the club doesn’t exist anymore but the people from Absurd are still deeply involved in shaping Polish club scene. She is currently a part of Absurd squad group of artists and promoters who are responsible for organising the fattest club gigs in this part of Poland.
Polish drum and bass female duo LAZY BITCHES comprises of DJ PUSH and MC JEAN.Iga has played countless gigs around the country and abroad. She performed in clubs in Czech Republic, Great Britain, Germany, Lithuania and Netherlands as well as in established London drum and bass radio LIFE FM. (www.lifefm.co.uk ).
