About Me
Mr.No comes from the industrial waste of Paris & arrived in London with a mission to turn himself into a drum machine.
"BLACK POWDER" VIDEO
Mr No is totally un-compromised and he deliberately breaks any musical restrictions or sound barriers. Electronic music practising a punk ethnic, Mr No is unlike anything else: abrasive, strangely melodic, pulsing like a machine. A sound, which by no mistake, has put him in a class of his own.
Mr No has remixed Marilyn Manson "Personal Jesus", Throbbing Gristle "Persuasion", Depeche Mode "Precious", Trabant "Nasty Boy", The Delays "Valentine" and most recently Nitzer Ebb "Lightning Man".
MOTOR live EUROPE
Mr No is also known for his joint project MOTOR with Bryan Black. The duo's third single, Sweatbox was released in the summer of 2005, and became an anthem which topped the charts of everyone from Dave Clarke, Miss Kittin, Sven Vath to Alter Ego. Sweatbox is hands down a monster record, with a crescendo drum avalanche that rocked the tiniest sweatboxes to festival dance tents all over the globe. Sweatbox re-surfaced as a mash-up mix on Gigolo under their XLOVER guise, fusing the bands Lovesucker with Motor's dark acid destroyer to make Suckbox. This year (2008) Chris Liebing delivered a punishing compilation including his remix of Sweatbox for the label CLR.
MOTOR live TOKYO
Motor's debut album, Klunk, showcased the duos most daring and exciting moments. Packed with dark menacing grooves, corrosive industrial drumming and the lost, tripped out cranial bending atmosphere of a party that just didnt quite stop, Klunk joins the dots between Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Final Cut, Plastikman, acid house and minimal techno creating a glorious dancefloor killing sound that is uniquely MOTOR.
MOTOR RELEASES
Killer singles Black Powder, Bleep 1, Unhuman and Flashback were perfect entries into the dark corners of the dancefloor, MOTOR are touring extensively throughout the world with plenty of vocals, live drums, synths and monochrome visuals.
