Roxanne Lemmon

About Me

Raised in the Mississippi delta, Roxanne Lemmon's soulful voice carries the sweet sultry torch of blues and classic rock, reminiscent of a modern day Janis Joplin and Bonnie Rait combination. The sincerity of her music transcends you to a place of truth, complexity and raw emotion. She is a natural entertainer and self-proclaimed class-clown who showcases an infectious vitality both on and off of the stage. Roxanne delivers a sound full of emotion and good times. She has an essence that enables her audience to reflect the most essential memories embedded deep in their soul. Her music touches souls old and new while walking away with a piece of her heart. In other words, the bitch can sing! Her three singles "I've got to have you", "You're gonna miss me" and "Why would you do it" were recorded at young avenue records and she is currently finishing up her debut album hopefully by this fall. Roxanne's live shows are unprecedented to most female artists in this day of manufactured music and studio magic. What you hear on the cd is what you get at her high energy, heart pumping, jaw dropping shows. Roxanne gives a new meaning to the word "performer".

Very Original

How hard is it for someone to come up with an original idea? I am going to assume it's extremely difficult considering only a select few of us can really do it. I am only judging from what I've recent...
