About Me

I love music! ..always have done, always will do. Love gigs, rock, dance and leftfield.
I also like beer! Most beers, lagers, so if you see me, buy me a pint!
I record and produce music for bands and solo artists. I like interesting musical projects and I love working with bands who come to the table with fresh ideas and energy. I've worked with far too many bands and artists to mention here ..some famous, some that are going to be famous and some that ..well don't want to be famous.
I'm also a Senior Lecturer in Music Technology at Huddersfield University. I'm also workign towards a PhD ..looking at the measurement of 'quality' in produced music. Well, it interests me at least!
If you're planning on studying Music Tech, you can't go wrong at Hudds Uni, great courses and great staff! haha.
Check the studio site at www.calder-recordings.co.uk or the label I run called www.kingprawnrecords.co.uk
I also make up a large part of the musical collective known as The Feltpeople, with releases and remixes both online and through various indy labels such as Cone Records & Citric. Their musical style is umm, leftfield.
I enjoy all styles of music, if theres something that grabs me. I love engineering and production.
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
