About Me

Proffesionally, I've worked at Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium, and Avalon, among other clubs. I also helped produce red carpet movie premiers for films such as Walk The Line, IRobot, Phone Booth, and Ice Age, among others. In the mid 1990's I used to work in the clubs mostly supporting the managers and business operations. Since 2001, my role in the club business has been analyzing and utilizing internet technology for event coordination and promotional purposes.

My Interests

Music/record collecting, reading, writing, talking with friends, anything really. I'm a party animal at heart and I do enjoy clubbing but i've become much more tame over the years. I still go out and get wild from time to time. Now I spend more time analyzing public policy initiatives and writing about them. I really believe that individual citizens can make a difference in government if they really commit themselves to it.

Music:

Cathy Dennis, Tori Amos, Sting, Kate Bush, Nirvana, Treble Charger, Madonna, U2, Siouxie & The Banshees, Green Day, Kylie Minogue, Soundgarden, Junior Vasquez, Jan Johnston, BT, Brothers In Rhythm, Billie Ray Martin, Sarah McLachlan, Jennifer Paige, Ce Ce Peniston, Spin Doctors, Arrested Development, Gwen Stefani/No Doubt, Blind Melon, Live, Pearl Jam, Edie Brickell, Rickie Lee Jones, Jody Watley, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Bjork, REM, Natalie Merchant, Skunk Anansie, Placebo, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Taylor Dayne, Vanessa Williams, Dido, Faithless, Kristine W, Sheryl Crow, Paula Abdul, Cranberries, Alanis Morissette, Aimee Mann, Sophie B Hawkins, Heather Nova, En Vogue, Mariah Carey, Basia, oh and of course Deborah Cox! (yes I like Tiffany and Deborah Gibson too especially their newer stuff)

Movies:

All the Star Wars films, all the Lord Of The Rings films, both Spider Man films, all the Terminator films, both Bourne Identity movies, Breakfast At Tiffanys, The Day After Tomorrow, Deep Impact, and hmmm, let me see, what else... my fave drama was a made-for-tv mini-series "The Last Don"- they made two of them, both excellent. The book by Mario Puzo was also great. The only "horror" movie I ever liked was "The Haunting" with Lily Taylor and Catherine Zeta Jones- based on an amazing novel by Shirley Jackson which I wrote a book report on when I was in 7th grade. The funniest movie I've ever seen is Rat Race with Whoopi Goldberg and John Cleese- if you haven't seen it you've got to go rent it, it is the funniest movie ever made! I also like anything with Steve Martin, Goldie Hawn, Meryl Streep, Leslie Neilsen, and of course the king... Mel Brooks. A lot of people said they didn't like the remake of "The Out Of Towners" but I loved it. Some good documentaries are "Unprecedented - The 2000 Presidential Election" and "Uncovered - The Whole Truth About the Iraq War".

Television:

My favorite TV show was Carnivale, but I didn't have HBO so I was waiting for the season 2 DVD set to watch the season and they cancelled it and never released the second season on DVD. But from watching Season 1 on DVD, I considered it one of the best shows ever produced for television.Other favorite shows include The Daily Show with John Stewart, Pepper Dennis was a great show while it was on the air, Just Shoot Me (Wendy Malick is so fierce!), That 70s Show, Mad TV, Dharma and Greg, Will and Grace, and my favorite cartoon of all time was the Thundercats. My favorite past comedy of all time was Flying Blind which was with Tea Leoni before she did movies- that show was hysterical!I will list my favorite video games under TV, since I played them on Nintendo and that was on my tv: All the Legend Of Zelda games, all the Super Mario Games (only the adventure ones, though, I never bothered with those Mario Cart or other fake Mario games), Dragon Warrior (they made a whole bunch of those and they were a lot like Zelda, huge worlds to explore, and very complex), Castlevania, Mega Man, and of course Tetris.

Books:

I like political science books and also enjoyed all the Chronicles Of Narnia books by CS Lewis.
