"Chrishan," (born Christopher Chrishan Dotson), was born on October 21st, 1989 in Toledo, Ohio. At only 18 he has taken the music world by storm, featured in magazines across the US, around the globe to Germany. Although his popularity and name are just beginning to become prominent in the music world, Chrishan is a veteran at heart.
From the warmth and richness in his voice to the style and personality of his character, Chrishan is definitely a must see. Dance moves and looks that turn heads are only the beginning of Chrishan's true, raw abilities. None would expect less, being that he grew up in a music-driven family, which featured the likes of the all-family group "The Dotsons," that paved the way for Chris Dotson, Lyfe Jennings, Jay Rush, Tim Dotson and many more.
For Chrishan, "18" marked the start of a new frontier. Labels came pouring in, and stardom became imminent. Nicknamed "The Future," by one exec, Chrishan represents "what true r&b is, and what it strives to be."
"110% will take you there," he says, and he is right. Chrishan is currently recording his debut album & in the works on many upcoming projects as both producer & songwriter. His self-produced smash single "Do It To It," with fellow rapper "Yung B aka Young Bishop" is on track to sell 10,000+ copies on iTunes by January 2008. (Has been active since Sep. 21, 2007 w/ approx. 2,500/month).
