I have been married to a wonderful man for almost 30 years. We are now oficially empty nesters. We like it that way!I am heavlily involved in NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). I am vice president of NAMI Ventura County and I teach a class called Family to Family. It's for family members that have loved ones who have some kind of major brain disorder i.e. mental illness. I really love being able to help families that are hurting.I also am an author, illustrator, & own a small publishing firm. The books I write are children's educational books. http://www.museummania.comMy most important job though is taking care of my two little granddaughters, Madison 3 and Macey 6 mo. These two little girls are the light of my life! Not that I don't love all three of my beautiful grown children, but I've discovered that grandchildren are the dessert in God's banquet in life.
