I'm 30yrs old and been through more trouble than most people will see in two life times. It all started when I was about 9 or 10 when all hell broke loose, I found out my parents were not my parents and in fact they were my uncle and aunt. I had a lot of problems with drugs and violence. To put things in perspective for those who don't know, I was stealing cars by the age 13 and in and out of jail until I was about 20yrs old. I don't like talking about the things I suffered through. There were not lot of great people who did there best to help and give me hope, but there were a few who I will never forget. You know who you are and your help was not in vain. I found a outlet that allowed me belong and feel welcomed and not condemned. I experienced the rave scene for the first time 1996 and it changed my life, it gave me something I have always wanted...united together for a cause without the use of violence, for the love of something... house music saved my life. Like most ravers I used drugs but then eventually realized how much drugs got in the way of me doing anything with my life. Then I focused on the music instead of the drugs.I spend my days trying to improve myself, no matter if its music or attitude about life. Since then my life has revolved around supporting the DJ/producers that inspire me and aspiring to be just as great and hopefully someday pass the torch and change a life like it did for me.I have performed most recently in clubs and cut back on all the house parties. for years I would haul all my equipment and DJ most if not all of the night, then packing up equipment and driving home...it gets tiring after 4-6 years when you are the promoter, the DJ and the sound guy. I still do some house parties but not like I used to do every weekend. I've spun at most of the clubs in the Chicago north west burbs. I have played at cue can do's, pyramid club, shadow bar, shark city and martini room in Elgin since early 2006 until Feb. 2008 until the demand for being a jukebox DJ became greater than a individual artist with a burning desire to express. My greatest influences are Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, Justin Long, Collette, The Sound Republic and pretty much all the Chicago greats no matter what style of music. I spin a very dynamic style of house, one day it might by deep, tribal, juke, disco, acid, jack or what ever.
