I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm just your typical slacker with aspirations of greatness. Currently I work at a 1 star Michelin restaurant in San Francisco. For those who don't know what it means, I'm just a cook who lucked out and have a job in the big leagues. Other than that I just work here so don't ask me questions about things I won't know.

My Interests

Anime, Cooking, Gaming, Reading, Ancient History (specifically china and japan), Travel

I'd like to meet:

Fellow co-conspirators and collaborators. Anyone who is willing to be straight with me about where they stand and what they think. And voracious students, be it life in academia, or something a bit more from the school of experience.

Music:

I don't listen to as much music as I used to but I'd have to say Pretentious Hipster music about covers it much to the dismay of my girlfriend.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings Trilogy, anything with Bruce Campbell in it, Miyazaki movies, Anything from the golden age of Hollywood, Jackie Chan's older movies like the original Drunken Master subtitled.

Television:

Usually crap, but occasionally something interesting

Books:

Battle Royale, Kitchen Confidential (cliche I know), Les Miserables (unabridged version only), Romance of the Three kingdoms (yeah I know it's the old translation name, but it sounds cool), Surely You Must be Joking Mr Feynman, anything that amuses, petrifies, appalls, or otherwise makes me think

Heroes:

Currently I'm a in a hero worship restructuring.

Live from New Orleans a comedy of errors

So kids I'm, in NOLA now, have to admit I dig the city though the humidity I could go with out. Work at Brennan's so far is pretty cake, but I'm sure it will be a lot more rough when the busy sea...

Kill the wabbit, Kill the wabbit

Then break him down into his little sans-fuzzy component parts. Keep the tasty bits, throw the not so tasty bits into a pot of water and let boil. So day 2 of service day and night. The body is defini...

Yourself or someone very much like you

And no that's not a dig on the Irish in general more of a statement about wedding receptions if you're on the staffing side. Now the Irish wedding involved a lot of drunken people but all in all it di...
