Rodrigo Israel Martinez (Disc Jockey / Remixer ) [Residing in Los Angeles, CA] DJ Israel, better known as DJ Israel "El Vagabundo". DJ Israel started his career in 2002 influenced by cousins. He was raised surrounded by varieties of music, nationalities, and cultures. By the time he decided he wanted to become a DJ, was when he realized the potential of being a DJ, It would bring him lots of positive things, A reason to express his expressions throughout music. After that, he started to pursue his dream to become a DJ.
Israel started focusing on the music that was played around the house and radio. He did not only learned to mix them, But also recognized every genre. DJ Israel, (raised most of his life in South Central L.A.), Made his debut in 2003, As he started gaining his audience by attending to house parties as a Mobile DJ. Also, he is opening new doors to his career as a DJ. Nowadays he dedicates his free time to music, Remixes one of the hottest records in the media, and also bonding with other DJ's to improvise his skills. With his carismatic personality and verstile style, struggles every day to find ways to take a step forward for his career which he takes it really serious and gives his complete dedication.
DJ Israel is experiencing some of his best times of his life working with some of the major artists worldwide, With Club Promoters, and other DJs. Just in 2006 he appeared for the first time in Online radio mixshows like www.SuperRadioMix.com hosted by DJ Flip and Dj Santarosa himself. With time to time he started gaining the nickname of "El Vagabundo" by his friends and relatives. Negative experiences led him to be a stronger, and wiser person, and to start making wiser decisions for him not to fall into trouble again. DJ Israel has also been a part of the Mixtapes scene for quite some time now and is currently working on new projects with other DJ's and bringing out new mixtapes for the public to enjoy. Just recently, DJ Israel has been working with Production teams such as: Exposed Entertainment, DL Productions, LABestClubs.com, etc (just to mention a few), Working in such concerts like Zion's "The Perfect Melody", Worked alongside "The Commissioner" DJ Santarosa, DJ George & DJ Grande (MusicJunkies from San Diego) and others.
Soon after 2006, DJ Israel produced the "All Star Reggaeton" mixape series, Which brought him to where he is now. Spinning for the hottest clubs in Los Angeles. DJ Israel worked on "Casa Latina" [Features the best in Latin House music] with DJ Santarosa, "Casa Latina" is now available in www.NuMixtapes.com, the Number 1 Latin Music Mixtapes Website in the world!. In every mixtape he produces, he always bring some latin flavor to it, such as Salsa Blends; Merengue, Punta, Reggaeton (A new form of Spanish music with a Reggae beat), Dancehall, and many other Caribean flavors.
