About Me

Hi! I'm Heather (as most of you know). I live in Dearborn with my son Liam and dog Roper. Here are some things you should know about me...I like running, yoga, exercise, the outdoors, coffee, wine, books, art, painting and/or drawing, movies, space(as in stars and planets), music, interesting people, things or people that are funny, uncomfortable situations, interesting no boundaries conversation, silence, fall, animals, my bed (well really just the covers), the way Liam's wooby smells, my awesome watch.I don't like when people spit (especially when they are walking in front of you). Also, I hate it when people slurp soup or coffee or leave their grocery cart two spaces away from the cart corral. You should also know never to take me too seriously.

Music:

I like music and I will pretty much listen to anything. Some of my favorite bands are Blue October, Jane's Addiction, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Killers, The Cure, Juliette and The Licks, Journey, Sting and the Police, Chili Peppers, No Doubt(pre-solo Gwen), Pink Floyd, The Doors, Incubus, Fiona Apple, K's Choice, U2, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters and the list could go on.

Movies:

Anything funny, artsy and just off the wall. I love Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill 1&2, Shopgirl, Wale Rider, Lost in Translation, The Oh in Ohio, Love and Sex Idiocracy, Swingers, Made, Best in Show, Clerks, The Big Lebowski, Stop or My Mom Will Shoot..(hehe, just kidding). Um, any John Hughes movie, any Adam Sandler movie especially The Wedding Singer. Yes, I like some really cheesey girly ones too like Gidget with Sandra Dee, When Harry Met Sally, Love Actually and of course Dirty Dancing. I like to randomly quote movies too.

Television:

is the devil! Actually, I don't have time to watch much of it. When I do watch it I like CBS Sunday Morning, Science Channel, re-runs of Seinfeld, Friends and Sex and the City and Two and a Half Men and the New Adventures of Old Christine.

Books:

Very picky about books. No romantic crap. My current selections are: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Big Sleep and The Vegetarian Way.

Heroes:
