Formed in 2002 Left For Dead is a metro-Detroit power trio. The band developed their early musical chops in the early to mid 80's listening to some of the great hard rock/metal acts of our time. These influences are immediately apparent in their music today. "Old school metal" as some like to call it is obviously not a genre that is particularly trendy or popular today, but LFD has never been about that. Their philosophy is simple in your face, hard driving, no frills hard rock in the classic sense. Staying true to that philosophy the band has enjoyed a significant level of success. As 2007 comes to a close the band completed their 4th CD. The band is also closing in on their 100th show. These shows have taken LFD across Michigan as well as outside of the local area and have included appearances with a number of national acts including Twisted Sister, Sebastian Bach, Great White, W.A.S.P, Krokus, Jackyl, Europe, Warrant and others. While embracing the accomplishments of the past the band continues to look forward. In early 2008 the band released it's 4th CD of which a couple of songs have received airplay on local mainstay radio stations. In addition the band continues to front for incoming national acts opening for Endeverafter and Airbourne in April.
