About Me
As the first independent bookstore in Philly, with two locations, 108 S. 13th Street and 1837 Chestnut Street, I've got alot to offer. New and Used books, Magazines at 40% off the cover price(including neked! material), the Moonstone Readings series as well as other events and signings, and of course Books Books Books! New releases, out-of-print-booksearches, you name it...we do it all right here. Aside from all that, there is always someone there to talk (or argue) art and politics with. In 2005, Style magazine voted Robin's "Best Independent Bookstore." I'm well-known for having an extensive collection of African Diaspora, Poetry, and Political books, so most of my friends are usually artistic, opinionated, and most of all, independent. Stop by so any one of our expert staff can assisst you... Just ask for Angelo, Nebadon, Tom, Rebecca, George, Mark, Gendler, Wanda, Ron, Jerome, or even Paul or Larry. But not Becky. No one gets to see Becky.
