hello. i'm hols. i come from a place called selby also known as the ghetto of sebbs. it's a funny town, with lots of chavs and lots of emos. it houses the worst macdonalds in the country and is the worst place to shop for a decent black drawing pen. or anything else come to think of it, as every second shop is a charity shop. haha. But, it's home, and it's full of the nicest people you could ever meet. all ALL of which i miss a hell of a lot. i also miss my little car LOADS because now i have to walk everywhere and can't just go wherever i please. plus i hate public buses. all my family are from york and currently still live there, thus it's the best place ever. and i love it lots. specially the shambles with mr sandwich, and the massive topshop it has. i currently live in scarborough in the uni halls. uni is ace, and i love living by the sea. specially now summer is arriving. i love the fact that one day it's dead with only the scarbarion students and chavs, and the next day its packed with tourists and little kids riding donkeys. at uni i'm studying primary teaching with module options. which can be both really fun and really dull. although i do like the fact that in lessons we can be really immature and play with all the kids resources. it's a hell of a lot of work, especially at the moment, and i have a million and one assignments due and also have to read about 5 books for my english exam. ack. however i'm sure ill manage and i hope to pass the year and move on the the even harder stuff next year. when i qualify i want to teach in a little school in the middle of a country village, where i can teach all day long and walk home down a little village road, with a pile of books at the end of day. next year we have a shared house between 7 of us, which is split into different flats, and i'm living with two boys; Jack and Joe. who although we argue millions, i love to bits. i just hope the don't leave the toilet seat up and make the flat smell of fags! ack. i can't wait to have my own kitchen that i can cook in all night long. and actually not have to eat the canteen shite i currently am at the moment.well...that's a little bit about me. so talk :)
