Once part of the famous Hills Brothers, Damon Hill has toured most of the western coast. He has performed with Buck Owens as one of the Buckaroo's. He also has worked for Merle Haggard. Now what more could a venue ask for? This artist has performed in Las Vegas... for both private and public affairs. He brought down the house in Texas.... Damon has been booked and rebooked at venues from the west coast to the east coast. VRBS Records is proud to be the booking agent for Damon Hill. He is an artist that is easy to book and has a smile for all.
He was born in Long Beach, California... ( home to Buck Owens ). From an early childhood he had a guitar in hand and a song in his heart. He performed for family and friends starting at age 10. Someone heard him and he was put on stage at venues around town by the time he was 16. Damon loved performing in front of audiences and has never lost that love. With his brothers he played up and down the west coast then on to Texas... Oklahoma... Arkansas... and Nevada... Buck Owens when home in Bakersville usually played at the venue that he got his first break in, that is where Damon hooked up with Buck Owens. Buck heard him perform one night and offered to give him an audition with the Buckaroo's. Damon won the audition and began performing with Buck Owens and the Buckaroo's in venue's all over America... Later Damon joined up with Merle Haggard which brought him to Nashville... Tennessee... Damon fell in love with the area and moved there. He shared the stage with Merle in Charlotte, North Carolina and new he was home. The Carolina's are his home and as he says in his blood. He does travel with his band but says..."North Carolina... is where he will stay as long as he lives. He loves the southern hospitality that he has found there. He lives in the Ballentine area which is the new up and coming area of Charlotte... You can often find him in Matthews, North Carolina... cutting up with friends at his favorite hang-out. Do not be surprised if you see him with guitar in hand with his buddies performing for the fun of it at their watering hole. Just say "HI" and he will give you one of his sly smiles and a tip of the hat. He does not shy away from his fans and is more than willing to share an autograph with them should they ask.

I'm a singer in a country band. ( Damon Hill and the Southern Travelers ). I graduated UCLA and JOHNSON AND WHALES UNIVERSITY. I love my kids and tell them that if they are a good person, good people like to hang around them.
Who I'd like to meet:
All the famous country singers. I have been playing in large and small venue's for many years but it’s been fun. I'm going to have a hit cd before this year is up. As for myself and my great band who are like brothers to me, we are really exited.
Damon often goes to Las Vegas.... to keep his hat in the ring on the West Coast. He has played at the WYNN as well as all the major hotels. He also goes to Texas.... to perform at venue's there. He has built a reputation among venue owners as a dependable performer, one that brings the crowds back time and again. For some good ole country songs or some new Southern Rock, Damon Hill delivers a performance that you would normally pay at least $50.00 per ticket to see in Nashville... or major concert arena's. Now days he is happiest when performing at small venue's so that he can mingle with his fans. That is not to say he does not share the stage with seasoned performers from time to time as he does his tours. He has shared the stage with Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Confederate Railroad, Roy Clark, and countless others but this down home boy still bends an ear to his fans.
