I am originally from South Dakota. I joined the Marines out of high school and did four years active duty. After my enlistment was done I did construction before going to college. I decided that I missed the Marines and joined the reserves in early 2001. I was activated in 2004 and deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Before being activated I married my wife Stacey. I have since returned to the US. I was working fulltime and trying to finish college, but I decided that I like the military better. So, I transfered to active duty Army, and now I get to be a Bradley commander.
