I'd like to meet:
Bono would be fun. Would make for a fascinating, if rather lengthy chat. I would have loved to have had the chance to talk to Jeff Buckley; there was a complex and ultimately tragic genius whose musical legacy lives on; Stevie Wonder is another on my list of people I'd love to meet and spend time with. Oh, and of course Julianne Hough!!

Currently very excited about Paul Steel's upcoming record "Moon Rock", while "April & I" may just be the best 27 minutes of 2007 so far. Also - in no particular order - Scott Matthews, Sufjan Stevens, Muse, The Feeling, Robert Randolph, Ayiesha Woods, U2, John Mayer, Jeff Buckley, Lincoln Brewster, Coldplay, Tree63, Scissor Sisters, 77s, Rush, Family Force 5, Tonex, Beastie Boys, most Motown - but especially Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, Arcade Fire, Gavin DeGraw, Brad Paisley, Bon Jovi, Mutemath, John Davis, The Listening, Switchfoot, Travis Cottrell, Tommy Walker, Joel Engle, Rob Thomas, Dum Dums, Gogol Bordello, Prince, Elton John, Genesis, Yes, Steely Dan & Supertramp (come on! I'm a sixties child!)
Movies:
Withnail And I, Napoleon Dynamite, Lost In Translation, Little Miss Sunshine, Elizabethtown, Walk the Line, The Godfather I and II (not so keen on Part 3), Standing In The Shadows of Motown, The Lake House, Wah Wah, Everything Is Illuminated, the POTC Trilogy, and anything with Adam Sandler, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson or Audrey Hepburn, plus RomComs such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding & Sweet Home Alabama. I know that sounds kinda sad, but like Elmo says, they're good movies...well I think so anyway!
Television:
Don't watch much actually but when I do I never miss any episode of Friends or - bizarrely - Everwood! Tend to catch any Sports & Movies - particularly US Baseball and NFL coverage - plus random comedy like Peter Kay and Alan Partridge, who make me cry laughing! Can't stand soaps, reality shows or anything like that, but I absolutely love Top Gear. In the US I'm rather addicted to American Idol and Greys Anatomy, to name just a couple, and of course sports!
Books:
Recently finished "Sex God" by the brilliant Rob Bell. I love the way he writes just like he talks! Biographies of most kinds really interest me, and at the moment I'm reading a very interesting book by Margaret Becker called "With New Eyes: Fresh Vision for the Soul" which is basically excerpts from Margaret's assiduously kept journals. Aside from that, I really enjoyed Rob Bell's "Velvet Elvis" and Donald Miller's "Blue Like Jazz", and John Eldredge's books are excellent too, as are Kevin Leman's. He's a cool guy as well as a great writer.
Heroes:
Jesus, My Dad, who died in 2004, and my Mom for coping with it all.......Oh yes, and Calvin Hollingworth!!
