The Man The Music The Ministry has been singing since the age of 2. It all started in the living room of the family house at the time. His father the Late Rev Ellis Wortham Sr. Was also a musician who's music was heard for over 50 years from the house of Blues, to the Baptist churches from St. louis to Mississippi. I grew up watching my dad and listening to my dad play the piano and organ. My dad taught me my first hymm "I Must Tell Jesus". I grew to love them old songs because those songs were powerful. Songs like "I come to the garden alone" and then skip down to the chorus "and He walks with me and He talks with me" I love those songs. At the age of 12, I began writing and playing my own songs. When I reached high school, I and a couple of my friends began to sing together and formed a group called "The Sanctified Tribe". The group members were, The Late Richetta"Adale" Fortier and Jonathan Fortier. We were fortunate to be able to sing all accross the country. We enjoyed the sounds of "Commissioned" and "The Winans". We later formed a choir called "The Sanctified Tribe Choral". They have recorded and are now awaiting the release of the project to date. I later relocated to Seattle WA where I have continued to grow and flurish in my Ministry. I have written songs for the Tabernacle Baptist Church Seattle WA, and I also sang with a group I Co-Founded alond with my friend and brother, Calvin Gary called "One Accord" a very popular group here in WA. The group later dispursed and went their separate ways still maintaining their closeness and friendships. I have sang and recorded with local artists such as, "The Imani Fellowship Choir" under the direction of Sam L. Townsend Jr. and "The R. L. Choral Ansemble". I have opened up for artist like, Beverly Crawford and Dorinda Clark-Cole just to mention a few. I have continued to pursue my dream and career in the Gospel Music Industry. I intend to shoot for the stars. God has truly been good to me. He continues to amaze me more and more each day. To God be the Glory.
