BIGSBY JONES

About Me

.......After logging over sixty shows and six states in 07, Bigsby Jones has been tightening up its increasingly lengthy set of original material, blending each other's unique influences of rock & roll into one steaming plate of love and heartache, with a sprinkle of imagination, and garnished with some political dialog! Part of the new rock and roll revolution, Bigsby morphs into many sounds from psychedelic to funk or from a soulful melody to a metallic sounding grunge with beautiful harmonies weaving throughout. And with three singer/songwriters at the core of this band, their live show is like getting three bands for the price of one. With drummer-singer-songwriter Mike DeJaynes behind the kit, studio owner and revered sound engineer Luke Garrett on the electric guitar, Sean Lehman on bass, singer-songwriter Tyler James on electric guitar and his self proclaimed “Spaceship”, and the unique and soulful Adam Burke on percussion, this band is always a unique experience live. Free to experiment on stage, Bigsby Jones write all their tunes and are not afraid to flip them upside down if the moment and vibe calls for something new. The overall sound of this band has emotion and tenacity rarely seen and has developed a strong local following and reputation for kick-ass, rocking live shows. Tyler’s hopped up vintage guitar adds a sometimes insane dynamic to the core sound. When asked what Bigsby Jones sounds like they decided ‘post modern classic rock’ best described them to folks who had never heard them. Their influences range from the likes of the Beatles, Neil Young, the Mother Hips, Steve Earle, Beck and Pink Floyd. Booking/Press: [email protected] or (406) 570-1570..............
