Tanzanian sociologist Mama Lyimo (LEE-MO) sets out on a mission to
uncover why HIV/AIDS continues to spread in her country, but when
Lyimo befriends an AIDS orphan named Suzy her grassroots journey
becomes more personal than she could have ever imagined. Lyimo and
Suzy's evolving relationship steers us on a unique and sometimes
humorous voyage into a landscape of stories and cultural exchanges
about what Tanzanians see as the causes for the spread of AIDS. And
when Suzy decides to test her siblings for HIV, Lyimo must face her
worst fears for the children she now calls family.
