I love music and am a long time drum and bass dj / producer,been Dj'in for around 13 years, crazy huh. Started going to warehouse raves back in 1992 in the Twin Cities and have never stopped listening to electronic music. Around 95 I bought techno , house , hip hop records,drum and bass.
After the Formation tour came through in 1996,which featuried SS,Rap, Mental, Power I started playin strictly drum and bass.1996 came up with the name Dj Balance and Joined the Jungle Vibe Collective.We were a Twin Cities DnB promotion crew that helped bring out well known national and international artists. Some of the artists included Shy FX,SS,Rap,Mental,Power,Randall, Cool Hand Flex, L Double, Darren Jay, Skibadee , Kane, Snuggles, Sappo,DBo General.Have also Opened for Dr.S.Gachet,Freesteppa,A-Sides,Dara,Dieselboy,Ak1200,Danny the Wildchild, Snuggles,Phantom 45,3D,General malice, R.A.W.and countless others I can't remember.
After the JVC crew I moved to NYC to attend the Institute of Audio Research for audio engineering and graduated.Played at tons of parties all over the Midwest , NYC and San Diego. Moved back to Minneapolis and produced my own monthly show called Breakthru. Did a couple of internships in recording studios. Moved back and forth between the Twin Cities and Chicago. Now living in Minneapolis , still DJ'in and producing music. Music is my favorite thing other than my friends,family,beer,movies, fast cars.
