^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I am now at KSU as a Biochemist student. I am also a Statistic minor. I am going to school to be an Epidemologist to study diseases in populations. (Like CDC) I work a few jobs on the side when I am not in class or studying. I would not be able to wake up with out God everyday, my CW sis, my groups f2f and online, with family who supports and loves me, and a husband who cares for me. He helps me stretch and grow into a stronger person daily. I truely love you.I am a secretary for the Mathmatics department. I am Roman Catholic and teach sunday school for the four year olds at Transfigeration Catholic Church. I belive everyone's choice of religion is right to some extent, some just fit others personalities better, but there is a God, who we all need to develop a relationship with, regardless of earthly beliefs.I grew up a GA peach in East Cobb enjoying sweet tea and being invovled. I love watching wrestling and playing golf. I still play the viola even though I am not part of an ensenble anymore. I have sereved as president and as a senate in various clubs and student government at KSU. I love shopping and sunning, expecially the days I get to shop at South Coast and after a long day retire on the Beaches of Newport and watch the sunset. When in the ATL I love eating at 10 Degrees South and shopping at Nordstroms (my favorite) for anything, shoes at the coach store at Lenox, Versace and Armani at Phipps.I want to be president someday... just ask me to recite my slogan in person. (the effects greater!)So far I have learned the farther you go outside your home, the deeper you go inside yourself and sometimes that means just being truthful to yourself. Try to laugh everyday and don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive. (I'm still working on that one.) WHEN YOU PRAY, MOVE YOUR FEET~African Proverb and stand up for yourself and find happiness in you before looing to others.
You Act Like You Are 29 Years Old
You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them. What Age Do You Act?INCONVIENT TRUTH ... GO see this movie!! Life changing for you! Education is the answer, start with yourself and then spread it. Because of Global Warming, either Greenland or Antarctica will melt and raise water levels. I bet you just said, "yeah in a billion years." NO! In 50 years, half of Florida's panhandle........ GONE!!All you need to do is see INCONVIENT TRUTH in theaters now!!A few Effects seen from Global Warming in 2006: As the earth warms:Insects have more areas to spread, because insects like warmer temperatures, and then Disease increase. Remember West Nile, Bird Flu????Stronger storms. Have you noticed more rain falling at one time, but then see large drought in other areas? Disaster Declaration in PA and NY because of flooding!!!!! June 2006.I could go on and on, but you will not feel the emergency.I saw INCONVIENT TRUTH on June 29, 2006 and besides my husband, we were the only ppl under the age of 55. I don't see that age group having to live with the consequences, represent and see this enlightening film. You will walk out with a different view, and that's not a bad thing. Don't feel burdened by the truth, just acknowledging global warming is an issue that deserves our attention today, not tomorrow The movie gives simple, cheap solutions that don't change our lifestyle today. Don't let politicians today make you choose between the economy and your home, Earth. Choose both. There are no simple solutions to complex problems, but educate yourself, so you aren't the problem. If you care to have a home on earth, then see INCONVIENT TRUTH. This entertaining movie is in theaters now! Educate yourself, so you won't be to blame.

My Interests

Greenland will disapear in 50 years! That is in your life time!! Floridia will shrink to half the size it is now. Where will all the refugees go? All you have to do is see a movie and become educated. GO SEE INCONVENIENT TRUTH!! ..

I'd like to meet:

June Carter; She lived her own life, but was able to have a healthy relationship. She stood by the man she loved, gave him space, stayed strong, and encourage him to find the better man inside himself.

Music:

I grew up with the oldies(late forty's to late 70s) and will always have a soft spot for favorites like Betty Hutton, the Monkeys, and even Diana Ross. Country reminds me of home, but has just now become a must have on my IPOD. I am a fan of Pop, R&B, Rap, and lots of soundtracks. I enjoy rocking to classic songs. Mostly my heart lies with the oldies but got to love a little bit of everything.

Movies:

Annie Hall is hilarious! The Break Up portrays relationships so well!! (I laughed and cried, always a good sign for a good movie.) Mr. and Mrs. Smith, it was our first movie we saw together and i could so see us in the characters. LOL! My chick flick is the classic How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. :) Wedding Crashers cracks me up... a defiant re-watch! American Beauty a new twist on life. Beautiful Mind, I love any movie by Ron Howard (my fav director.) Pulp Fiction is memorable. The Office reminds you to find a job that ya love, for your the one who is living your life. Captain Ron is a good family movie. I love watching Riding in Cars with Boys with my girls. I also enjoed the Graduate and the resent remake with Jennifer Aniston, Rumor Has It. And of couse Pretty in Pink and 16 Candels. I know there's more...but that's good for now. aN iNCONVIENT tRUTH: Scariest movie EVER!!! If you only see one movie, see this one~!

Television:

I think I started crying when the cable got hooked up at my first home. I love my TV shows mainly the ones at primetime, but that is only because I am busy. I love watching the Today Show and Good Morning America, then on to Regis and Kelley, finishing up with the View. Then you have of course later that day Oprah and my fav Ellen D. At night I have been a fan of Save By the Bell to Dawson's Creek and now to One Tree Hill. I loved related and can't believe teh CW didn't pick it up. Most WB shows: Everwood, Gilmore Girls, ect. On ABC I enjoy Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Lost. I also love the gossip shows on Celebrities. Throw in a Rachael Ray for dinner or to save money and end it with the Daily Show.

Books:

1)John Adams is a must read. Washington, Jefferson, and Adams were all in on the action when the US began, but Adams is the less popular and sometimes forgotten. His whole life story is very interesting and expecially the way David McCullough tells Adams story. 2)Teilhard in The Phenomenon of Man was very deep and slightly wordy, but way ahead of his time in ideas and technology. 3)Obassan was intriguing and interesting to see a different side of WWII. 4) Strange Fruit by Lillian Smith just helps you realize the world around you. I started off readingthis book thinking, "Great another book about the south, how am I suppose to learn anything if it is only about the same boring race issuses of the south?" Only to find a very enlighting book of love and hate. 5) Final Exam: the truth about being a surgeon

Heroes:

First, I'd have to say my husband. He taught me that it is ok to just be me. I have never felt more relaxed in my skin than after meeting him. Not to mention I have never laughed so easily and as much since we meet. Second, I have lots of people I have admired or looked up to over the years, but mostly my heroes are people who know how to enjoy life, have the strength and knowedge in themselves, have a caring, charitable heart, and who lives a life with God as their guide. Also, they are usually very well-rounded, almost everyone who is really great at one thing is really great at other things too. (Like Winston Churchill who was not only a prime minister, but also has art work in the Brittish National Museum.) Thirdly, my parents, who aren't perfect, but showed me how to love and the meaning of family and respect.
