I am here for Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

Hey everyone! My name's Tyler, I'm 19 years old and live in Bend, Oregon. I've been living here for 6 years now, and it's an awesome place to live. I graduated high school last year, but decided to take a year off so I could work, save money and have as much fun as possible. I work at a fast food restaurant in town, and it's not a lame job like some people would think. I love my job, I have the best boss in the world, and my co-workers are like family to me.My goal is to become a commercial pilot for my career. I already have my private pilot's license. In fact I had it before I got my driver's license! Some of my friends get a kick out of that little fact. My family owns a small airplane, which allows us to fly to places that would take hours or days to drive to in a relatively small amount of time.Among my other interests are scubadiving, skiing, riding my ATV (especially in the wintertime at our cabin in the mountains), paintball, computers, video games, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. I'm a very fun-loving person, I love to have fun with whatever I'm doing, no matter what it is. I'm also one to enjoy life's simple pleasures, I think we should all "stop and smell the roses" a little more often. I tend to be a little shy at first until I get to know you, but once I know you pretty well I open up and am pretty outgoing.I love my friends! They mean everything to me. I don't really have a lot of friends (I never have), but I'm OK with that. I think it's more satifsying to have a few close friends than a bunch of ones that come and go. I don't have a world full of friends, but instead I have a few friends that mean the world to me. I definitely feel very blessed and fortunate to have the friends that I do have as a part of my life.

My Interests

Flying, and aviation in general, scubadiving, skiing, ATV riding, paintball, listening to music, computers, video games, spending time with friends, working and making money, and overall just living life to the fullest.

Music:

Music is awesome! I like a lot of different kinds of music. I love country! Other than that, I like oldies, some 80's and 90's, easy listening (I even like a little classical sometimes) classic rock (Billy Joel, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, and the like), and some hard rock and classic hard rock (Aerosmith and Guns n Roses, to name a couple). The only types of music I really don't like are rap and hip hop. Basically, if I like a song, I'll listen to it, even though I may not be into that genre much.

Movies:

I don't think I could narrow it down to a list of favorite movies, because I like so many! I love action movies though! And comedies! There's nothing like a good movie that keeps you laughing all the way through.

Television:

My favorite shows are Navy NCIS, CSI and CSI: New York, and that new show Criminal Minds. Also that other new show, The Unit, and Boston Legal (it's flippin hilarious!). I used to watch ER, and I still like that show but I can't watch it anymore because of my work schedule on Friday. I also like the 70's sitcom All in the Family. Another one of my favorites is Boy Meets World, it was always a good show to watch.

Books:

I actually don't read books very often. In fact it's been a long time since I've sat down and read a good book all the way through.

Heroes:

God is definitely a hero!

My Blog

I've met my love.

Basically, it's been a really long time since I've posted a blog on here.  Last one was in July.  That's a hell of a long time ago.  I ask myself, what all has changed since then, and a...

Playing In The Rain

Last Sunday, 7/09/2006, there was an afternoon rain that came over town.  It was quite warm outside, and the darkening sky looked like it wanted to rain for some time before it finally did. ...

One heck of a storm

I cannot believe the storm that came through 2 days ago (Monday)!  That was insane.  I've never seen that kind of a storm come through here, ever.  What was interesting was the buildup,...

The trip down to California last weekend with Roseanna and her family was so much fun!  It's been so long since I've been on a road trip of any kind I almost forgot what it was like.  In fac...

7 of 13

Today was day 7 for me of my 13-day-in-a-row work stretch.  Just past the halfway point, so it's all downhill from here on.  After 7 days in a row I'm starting to feel a bit tired. ...

My Open to Close

Last Monday, May 1st, I worked an all day shift at my store...a full-blown open to close. All thanks to the Hispanic workers taking the day off because of the whole protest thing going on. I had actu...

The Snow Yesterday

When I got up to go to work yesterday, I opened my garage door and saw that there was some snow outside. My first reaction was, holy crap, it snowed! Because I wasn't expecting it of course. There was...
