Founding member and leader of the Derailers, with 20yrs. experience in recording/producing and involvement in the music industry. Those familiar with the Derailers will appreciate the wide range of influence in the sound of the band and my interests in music. Though not limited within the scope of recording production, my main interests lie in the roots/country/Americana genres and good solid singer/songwriters. My love of music and desire to help an artist or group achieve their recording goals with an accessibility to radio and labels/distributors gives my production the care and heart it takes to make it a cut above. Working with a varied and top-notch cast of producers in my own recording career, including Dave Alvin, Buzz Cason, and Kyle Lehning to name a few, has helped shape my perspective and given me an appreciation of what it's like to be on both sides of the glass in the studio. Reasonable rates and an awareness and understanding of budgets along with access and connections to a wide variety of studios and players provides an excellent value to my involvement with your next recording project.
