Myspace Countdown Clocks at WishAFriend.comI'm pretty simple really...RED SOX BASEBALL, singing karaoke, reading, listening to music, studying/learning (neuroanatomy is a killer), microbiology, chiropractic, American history...especially Civil War/WW2 and being not just a good friend but a great one....ok, perhaps I'm really not so simple, but then again who is.
What Philosophy-In-A-Nutshell Are You?
Â
Classicism
You are classicism! Most prominent in ancient Greece and Rome, classicism is one of the first great philisophical schools of thought. You believe that the universe is sensical, intelligible and beautiful. You may want to hook up with Aristotle or Plato, they share your sentiments! You are concerned with ethics, mathematics and science in both a brainy and personal way. You are smart and intelligent, so put these gifts to good use and don't feel intimidated by the daunting process of logical proof.

Music:
I pretty much love everything, 80's, oldies, classical, ska, alternative, even showtunes. There's nothing I like better than singing and dancing along with a good tune. As I said, I love all music. Honestly. Except...well with the 2 tiny little exceptions of some rap music and improvisational jazz. I can't stand the cacophonous nature of them.
Movies:
Gettysburg, Harry Potter, 80's Brat Pack flicks like Sixteen Candles, "Fer-ris Buel-ler, you're my he-ro", Fast Times at Ridgemont High ("No shirt, no shoes...no diiiice"), The Goonies, Star Wars (the originals), definitely Indiana Jones, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Pride and Predjudice...all versions, Forrest Gump, Clue, The Great Muppet Caper, Anne of Green Gables, Saving Private Ryan, Beetlejuice, Big Business, The Silence of the Lambs ("Dr. Chilton, I presume?"), Fever Pitch, Protocol, Kill Bill, Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Twelfth Night, Love Actually, Bridget Jones, The Matchmaker, The Secret of Nimh, The Full Monty, Jane Eyre, King Solomon's Mines, Rear Window, Gone With The Wind, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, The African Queen, Brigadoon, Annie Get Your Gun ("Anything you can do I can do better...I can do anything better than you..."), pretty much any Rogers and Hammerstein musical, Disney movies/cartoons, and most other classic flicks
Television:
Red Sox baseball (I miss being in the Boston area and getting the games on TV every night--GO SOX!), British comedies like Fawlty Towers and Are You Being Served?, Law and Order, CSI, SNL, Grey's Anatomy, American Idol, Mystery and Masterpiece Theater on PBS, and the History channel.ATTENTION RED SOX FANS! (Please try not to weep from happiness when watching this video)

Books:
I will read anything as long as it isn't too depressing. I get traumatised enough watching CNN. I don't need to read about it for fun. The last time I read something sad I started crying on the commuter rail train into work...lol. Books that I enjoy I will read many times. My favorite is Jane Austen's PRIDE and PREJUDICE. It's hilarious:-) I am also completely addicted to all things Harry Potter, and I have been reading the last book at a snail's pace since I don't want the series to end!
Heroes:
Anyone more talented than me, and that's a lot of people:-)
